Plenty of rainfall is available if it’s properly managed and harvested. Fertile soil coupled with rain harvested water can produce best quality fruits. If targeted population is fully sensitized on importance of fruits in their dietary intake, it will not only improve health standards of the targeted population on short term basis but also can create an environment where quality fruits with multiple types can be produced at household level for consumption to ensure dietary balance in the long term with minimum cost, focusing more on self-reliance.
