Introduction of the Project:
After participant’s introduction shared with them that “what is MAAN project and its purpose of implementation in the UC Beer. Who are the main stake holder organizations who are supporting us for this project? People appreciated and thanks to IC and IFOAM for their services and contributions for humanity.
Purpose of the Workshop:
To reduce the hesitation from the participants and involve them fully in the session, shared with them why RSPs are going to do today session and what are the main agenda points for today session which we will discuss with the full participation of all participants.

Wajiha javed you have shared the report of Breast feeding session. I need some more details please share the date of the session how may women participated, where it was held, and most importantly you have mentioned so many tools in one session such as FGD, brainstorming, role play i think it was an awareness raising session not a training but if you have used all these tools please explain them here what were the results of these exercises. Please respond here

Dear Shazia Hina,
The purpose to use all these tools to make session more effective and impressive for the participants. So, the participants actively participated during the session.
On 25th July, 2016 was the date of the session and Kutli village of union council Beer was the location.
Brain storming:
Brainstorming is a group creativity technique by which efforts are made to find a conclusion for a specific problem by gathering a list of ideas spontaneously contributed by its members.
So, brain storming is the part of every session or training. When I asked the women that how they feed their children? What is the positioning during feeding? Do they all feed their child? Is breast feeding is necessary for a child?
These all above questioning are called brain storming. As I was asking the women to answer their views about some specific issue or question…
Role Play
They took part in making some gesture and role play to practical demonstration of breast feeding positioning. One of the participants practically demonstrated the hand washing procedure and steps with the participants because handing washing is very important for breast feeding and lactating mothers.
FGD:
Mother and child were the focused during the breast feeding session. So during the session I ask women to tell how they feed their child and when? What are the timings etc. so it was totally focused child by their mothers. Mothers gave answers of the questions specifically asked about the breast feeding.
